Goals: In the Friends' mission of restoring and preserving Gillette Castle and its grounds are many goals. Among these goals are the restoration of the steam and electric locomotives for William Gillette railroad, the Seventh Sister Short-Line. Friends participate in many ways from organizing to doing hands-on work. The Friends have made many fine contributions to Gillette Castle, its grounds, and its activities.
